A jig is simply a tool, typically for positioning a piece of metal or wood, that allows you to cut, weld, or join accurately and repetitively. I made this particular jig to ride along the fence of our cold saw, allowing us to make precise, 90* repetitive cuts. I used scrap, cutoffs from previous projects, a reuse of otherwise wasted material.
